We had a great time at Greer Stadium for the annual Camp Greer Cub Scout campout. We arrived prior to the game, received our cool Camp Greer patches, and enjoyed hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, and sodas provided by the stadium concessions. Then we sat together to watch the game and cheer on the Nashville Sounds, our minor league baseball team.
When the game was over we enjoyed a fantastic fireworks display. After waiting a little while for field maintenance and the crowds to clear out, we were allowed to enter the outfield and pitch our tents. There were a total of about 30 tents taking up half of the outfield grass from 3rd base to center field. The other half of the outfield was left open for the kids to play baseball, football, Frisbee, soccer, etc. The fun and games went on until 1am (lights out). It was ‘rise and shine’ at 5:30 to clear camp and head home. Lots of fun!
